The Restaurant Group implements both SIM and SCM modules in record time
September 15, 2015
Our latest case study showcases how The Restaurant Group, a leading group of restaurants and pubs, has implemented our ARCUS® SIM and SCM modules to improve its procurement strategy in just 15 weeks, a record for the implementation team here at Trade Interchange.
TRG identified a shortfall in its current supplier management process and was struggling to keep track of key pieces of supplier information and contractual information. After working with Trade Interchange on various other eSourcing projects in the past, TRG decided to implement the Supplier Information Management and Supplier Contract Management modules in order provide total visibility and governance over its suppliers and contracts.
With top-level support and guidance from our implementation team, The Restaurant Group was able to have the SCM module up and running in as little as 11 weeks and one day, followed by the SIM module in just 15 weeks.
Nick Smith, purchasing director at The Restaurant Group, said: “In a short space of time, the systems have completely revolutionised the way in which we manage our suppliers’ information and now we have a much better overview of them and their contracts.”
The central supplier database that comes as standard with both modules provides TRG with an easily accessible and comprehensive hub of supplier information. The built-in workflows have provided huge efficiency savings in the way that TRG manages contract lifecycles and supplier information, and it is now looking for more ways in which Trade Interchange can help within its procurement strategy.
