Trade Interchange expands within the foodservice and hospitality sector

The Directors at Trade Interchange have recently attended various events involving the foodservice and hospitality industries following an increase in the number of clients using the ARCUS® platform within the sector.

Directors Simon Brake and Tim Hoiles both attended Hotelympia 2016 at ExCel London last week, the UK’s largest foodservice and hospitality event, where they were able to meet with many industry members.

Simon said: “The Hotelympia event was great as it gave us a fantastic opportunity to talk to key professionals about issues and trends which are relevant within the foodservice and hospitality space. It also allowed us to properly gauge the relevance of effective supplier management within their organisations.”

The ARCUS® Supplier Management Platform helps organisations within foodservice and hospitality address the risks they face surrounding their suppliers, such as compliance and contractual risks, which can be managed using the ARCUS® SIM and SCM modules.

Andy Tyson, Director at Trade Interchange, recently attended the Casual Dining 2016 event, which featured exhibits and networking opportunities for organisations within the hospitality sector.

He added: “It’s really important for Trade Interchange to have a presence at these events, as we strive to stay ahead of the industry and see what the future holds.

“It also helps that we have a number of clients within the foodservice and hospitality space using the ARCUS® platform, such as The Restaurant Group and Whitbread, both of which use our SIM and SCM modules to help manage their supplier information and contracts, which ultimately reduces their exposure to supplier risk.”

ARCUS® SCM uses configurable workflows to manage the tasks surrounding supplier contractual data, while SIM features automated alerts and reminders to ensure all supplier information is current and kept up-to-date. These features help to address the specific problems around compliance and other risks relating to the foodservice and hospitality sectors.
